The location was fantastic, very central to everything. Great to be able to walk to local beaches, sites, restaurants and shops.

the location is perfect if you want to be in town and walk everywhere. The kitchen is adequate with all you need but only electric hobs and microwave but no oven. Parking ia available on premise which is great and the pool area is pleasant for reading a book. Connie and staff are lovely and very helpful.
The interior is very 1980s and could use a pick me up paint wise. The pool is tiny so no lap swimming here just wading. There are a lot of steps going up so get ready to be fit.

Excellent, very central location.
Spacious room with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Quite expensive for what is offered, especially considering the advertised 4-star rating.
No lift, and our room was on the second floor. We had large suitcases and unfortunately received no assistance with the luggage.
No daily housekeeping, and guests are required to take out their own rubbish before leaving or pay a fee.
When we were struggling to find an Uber to Cairns, the owners saw the situation but did not offer any assistance, only suggesting that we could ask them next time. Unfortunately, there will not be a next time.
Overall, the location is great and the room itself was perfectly fine, but we did not feel that the price or the 4-star rating was justified by the facilities and level of service provided
