Armani the receptionist is Amazing. She is probably the most helpful receptionist that I have ever met. I am usually working overnight when I visit here and Armani organises everything to help me she is fantastic.

Breakfast was a good choice. The problem of queues for coffee machine were very long when Groups attended the dining area.

The Group evening meal. On the first evening it took over half an hour to get a Starter. It was almost impossible to walk around the tables they were too close. New lighting needed in dining room, some areas too dark to see the food.

Clean hotel and friendly staff, but noise and breakfast issues really impacted the stay I stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in Swindon for one night and there are definitely positives. The location is great — pretty central to the town centre — and the hotel itself is very clean. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and the lifts were fast and efficient, which is always appreciated in a larger hotel. My room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, although the shower pressure was extremely poor, which was disappointing. The view overlooked the car park and bins, but for a one‑night stay that wasn’t a major issue. I appreciate this isn’t the hotel’s fault, but being on the 4th floor wasn’t the most peaceful experience. The room next to mine repeatedly slammed doors and talked so loudly it could probably be heard in reception. This went on until after 11pm and then again from 6am. Combined with noise from the car park and service area below, it didn’t make for the best night’s sleep. Breakfast was the biggest let‑down. I went down at around 7:20am and the breakfast area was already completely packed. It’s a very small space for the size of the hotel, and while I understand busy periods, even the chance of grabbing a coffee and finding a quiet corner wasn’t possible. The queue for the coffee machine was ten people deep, there were no free tables, and none of the occupied ones had been cleared. The woman taking room numbers was abrupt, and when I asked if I could take a coffee into the lounge area, she grunted that I couldn’t before immediately returning to her mobile phone. At that point, I left without eating. For something charged as an added extra, it felt like a complete waste of money. Even checkout was difficult — a departing coach party had completely filled the reception area with their suitcases. I had to ask four times for cases to be moved just so I could leave the building.
