Monday Royal apart hotel

I really liked this hotel and was most impressed with it. The hotel is tucked well off the main roads in a leafy area which is very quiet. The hotel is gated, and to the front of it is a very pleasant patio area with shrubs and small fountains and with seats and tables which was a very nice place to sit and relax. The staff were all delightful and so polite (they stood up when you entered the lobby) and their English was very good. The lobby was very smart and modern. Our bedroom was vast! We entered from the bedroom door into a small hall with wardrobes which led to a huge, nicely furnished lounge with a big kitchen off it, a large bathroom and a spacious bedroom. The lounge and bedroom decor was very different (sort of 18th century French rococo style) but the kitchen and bathrooms were a modern style. All the facilities you needed were available (including a washing machine). The wifi was reliable and strong. The room was very quiet with no noise from traffic or neighbouring rooms. Breakfast was extra to the room ($10 each) and was pretty good value for the nice buffet spread available. We didn't use the gym or the spa facilities but they looked good. The hotel isn't that near to a metro, but taxis are cheap and easy to catch (make sure you have the Yandex Go app). If you want to walk to the key monuments and squares of the city it takes around 20 minutes which isn't bad. An excellent stay in an really nice hotel which was such good value for money.

Our family loved this hotel. We are here third time and probably will stay again. The hotel is clean. Staff is polite and answering to all your questions even recommending places to eat and visit. Overall I love this hotel
