The property is well located and more importantly we were not deceived by booking.com photos that were not true to scale. We had a lovely room. Large bath with shower/tub combination. We are on a cycling trip so that is important to us. The staff we so good. Supplied maps and a lot us useful information about the town. Lovely breakfast room and well appointed. We would certainly recommend this hotel to friends.

The hotel is an attractive historical building in the heart of the town. The room had a desk, that I used, and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was to a good continental standard.
The bathroom and lavatory could benefit from updating. The shower was in the bath and was not easily adjustable.

Staff were friendly and responsive and the hotel is good value for a nice location in the centre of the old town. Dedicated locked parking was useful also.
The room was small and warm, which meant windows open and then it was noisy. The rooms were a bit tired, more pillows would have been useful.
