I was leaving early and did not eat breakfast.
The shared outdoor balcony had a beautiful view, comfortable outdoor furniture and easy access. The security was very thorough with a coded gate entry. The location was excellent for walking access to the Tuyap Exhibition facility. The walk was about 10 minutes and there are two pedestrian bridges that avoid having to cross the street in traffic. This made my stay very easy. There is a taxi stand just three blocks away in case you want to go into the old part of town where the tourist destinations are located.
I had no complaints.

The house has potential. The location is really near the metrobus station and Tuyap Convention Center (max 10 minutes on foot). Nearby there are 2 malls, some coffees and restaurants. Despite being near a busy street, the neighbourhood is quiet, but. The owner was very nice and you can easily pay by card on spot. There is a working fridge in the room and the WIFI speed is really good. Comfortable bed and very nice sheets. Generally clean. Heating is very efficient.
However, I was not able to sleep at night, because the door and walls seem to be made from cardboard. I could literally hear every word from the next room. There was also a common toilet in a small hall and every time somebody used it at night, I could hear this. On top of the noise problem, in a neighboring house there was a rooster crowing from 5 AM every 10 minutes. For the second night I had to buy earplugs, otherwise it was not possible to sleep.
There is no bedside reading lamp or wall outlet at the bed to charge the phone.
The showerhead was leaking, so you had to turn the water to maximum to be able to have enough pressure to take a shower. However the drainage did not work well at this pace, so even after a 2 minute shower, you ended up standing up your ankles in water. Not nice and an easy fix...
The way to the Metrobus and Tuyap is a short uphill climb with quite a steep part. Not the house fault, but good to take into consideration if you have mobility issues.
