We like the Kerameikos area: very friendly, and largely residential, with some nice restaurants, but also close to the centre; so we tend to stay there. The hotel is staff-free: you let yourself in and out, and that worked fine for us. It is very spacious and elegant — luxurious even. We went out of season, and it was very reasonable indeed for such a large space (I imagine it is more expensive in high summer).
No complaints at all from us. In terms of the area: if you are looking for a glamorous part of Athens this isn't it, but it is arty, friendly, quiet and safe.

the location was great, close to main attractions, very clean, the bed sheets smelled very nice, and the interior garden was perfect for relaxing.

The location is in a lively part of Athens, not too far from the center. We found the apartment to be very calm, very clean, with a lot of facilities. We especially appreciated the AC which worked very well. We did not test the dishwasher or the laundry machine but if you stay longer, I imagine you would appreciate them a lot.The self check-in was a nice thing for us, since we had a late flight. Overall we found it was great value and definitely recommend!
Not too bad but we found the room a little damp, we opened doors and windows but found that what worked best was the "dry" function on the AC.
