The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming.
I've stayed here before, and the atmosphere is not quite as pleasant as it was when this was the Dave Red. The lobby was too bright, candles were not lit, the bar is not functioning, nothing suggested a friendly vibe. The room was smaller than the average room here, and I asked if they had something a little larger, and they suggested an upgrade for 100 euros a night, reduced to 80. That's quite a bit of money, and if I was going to pay that much more I would have selected a different hotel. They do have rooms in the category I booked with a. few extra square feet of space, which is what I wanted, and they could have arranged that at no extra charge. The quarters are really tight so every square foot makes a difference. And, why do they take up space with record players when they do not supply records? Finally, the cleaning was thorough, though they missed cleaning one day of our stay entirely, left the Kleenex box empty until we asked to have it filled, and a mop and pail were left in a hallway outside the room. Just didn't seem up to scratch.

It was so tight in every way..bathroom it is not easy to turn around 180 degrees. It wasn't comfortable.
Room is so small ypu don't have an option to sit around unless you go to bed. It is so tight.

This being my second stay at this hotel , previously in a suite. This small room was indeed small but it did have a balcony which helped. My stay was for only 1 night for a longer stay i would recommend a bigger room.
The elevator , which was very small and the modest breakfast options.
