The room was clean, the directions were very good, instructions about restaurants and groceries store were given on an information sheet. It was close to Omaha Beach. Very good value for the cost.
The shower was behind the bed. But was a nice shower.

It was nice they accept pets. It was easy to walk to the beach and take in a lot of interesting history of the area. The unit was nicely decorated.
There was possibility to cook and eat in the room, but the dish cleaning is in the bathroom. Yuk. The tea kettle was grotty and took quite a lot of cleaning before I could use it. Since I didn't have food, I really wanted a cup of tea. There is no food in the area, the closest market or restaurant is 20 minutes drive away. So bring food or plan to drive out and back. Other guests arrived after midnight turning all the lights on talking outside our door and giving both me and my dog quite a scare. It was so unexpected at that hour, because the door is located in the back yard and the gate was closed. I could not get back to sleep. There is a large gate that was made for cars/ parking, but they don't allow parking. You can park in the open exposed farm field across from the house or about 200m away on the main street. With such bad weather I would have preferred to park in a more protected and closer position. Not a bad place to spend the night, but I would not put it on my list to return.
