Very cool vintage style.

Wonderful stay for two sets of families who went there. The hotel itself was situated in a quiet town called Bad Salzig, which was an easy train ride away from Boppard, St Goar, Koblenz, etc. The host gave each of us guest passes that allowed us to use the public transit free of charge, and enabled discounts on the river cruises, etc. The kitchen and bathrooms was compact but very well stocked. Rooms were lovely and comfortable. At first, we had booked a 2 bedroom apartment, but we found one of the bedrooms too small. When we mentioned this to the host, he went out of his way to accommodate our needs and moved us to another set of rooms. Also, the hosts were very helpful with laundry needs - washer dryer available on the property.

My suggestion: Intermediate cleaning services could be offered after every 2-3 days for long stay guests. Since we were using the kitchen for cooking, the floors would get dirty, despite our cleaning.

Less is more, not perfect for everyone but perfect for those who love history and tranquility

No simple house keeping for room, for example, I rent for 3 days but not sure where can I get a towel. As simple as such

But, this is not a hotel anymore. No bar or restaurant. No reception. All self service. They call it an appartment hotel but room had no kitchen or fridge.
