Exceptional

Amazing hospitality and such a beautiful stay, rooms were spacious and clean. The manager was super lovely and was so awesome to connect with her over some kiwi past. Beautiful decor and location to the lake. Wish we had more nights

beautiful and relaxing holiday

I traveled with my little dog and we felt very welcome at the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and very clean. I loved the style with the four poster bed and the elegant and original furnitures. Big balcony surrounded by the mountains and facing the sunrise. I found very positive that in the room there was a big hairdryer (not the small one you usually find in hotels) and that soap, shampoo etc were good quality products. There is a nice, well kept garden in the back. The location is also good: there is a bus stop less than 1 minute walking; close to shops/ restaurants; few mins walking from the lake.

the mattress wasn’t the most comfortable.

Staff was very nice. Breakfast was ok, German style (don't expect croissants ;)). Location is 5 minutes walk to a very pretty lake view. I liked the private balcony option and the so welcome fancy toiletries

You're forced to buy a 3 euro tourist card even when you won't use it, and you can't opt out of it. The final price informed on booking.com did not include the tourist tax, in spite of being shown as final

Very Special Style - Not for everyone

The hotel is located in a perfect location, very close to the center of Bad Wiesse and very close to the boat station. The rooms were amazingly clean and the breakfast was despite COVID-time superb. It was a “served“ breakfast buffet with regional products and only yummy things. The staff was very friendly and ready to help whenever it was needed. The hotel has a beautiful terrace and a beautiful tea-room/reading corner. After we complaint of not being able to sleep due to noises, a discount has been offered (we appreciate a lot this gesture) and we would recommend the hotel despite it was not the kind of place I like to stay.

The hotel has a very “colonial” style. The furniture, the decoration and the spaces are from another time. Everything is well maintained but unfortunately if you like trendy furniture and the “Luxus” of staying in a hotel, this is not the proper location. The bathroom was very simple and old. You can notice that the bed has being used for years and we could heard my neighbors from above. If you like this kind of “old-style” Hotels, this is going to be perfect for you. The restaurant closes at 7, so we needed to go to another hotel for dinner.
