Very good central location. Room was clean and the breakfast was good. The young lady who worked in the bar was very pleasant.
We felt the room was small and a little gloomy. We overlooked the courtyard of the hotel where significant building work was taking place. Voices and a variety of noises could be heard from 6am on one morning.

The location is amazing, very conveniente to arrive by car or by train and close to the main streets.
Breakfast is very good, good selection, great quality products and delicious.
The bedroom is equipped with everything needed, not loud and very calm despite being in the downtown, beds very comfortable.

The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was remarkably good with the ability to order additional items. We interacted with several staff members especially the night desk clerks, all of them were responsive, kind, and helpful. Located in a pedestrian area it was a short walk to the Museum of Egyptology and a bit further on the Palace and gardens. All of this and a 2 minute walk to the Porto Nuovo train station.
The windows were higher on the wall and didn't offer a view. There was scaffolding up around the outside of the building which made walking down the block more awkward - a minor and temporary issue.
