A wonderful little hotel with bags of character. We loved its story, its gardens and the space to rekax and enjoy wonderful views. The staff were very helpful and we especially appreciated the provision of a gluten free breakfast.

The location is very close to the city centre, just a short 10 minute walk. The garden is also very lovely, the view is great and each room has a nice seating area outside.
The room itself was not great. It looks like nothing has been done since the place opened 30 years ago. The beds weren't really comfortable (you can feel the springs in the mattress), there was a cable coming out of the wall (I'm guessing where a lamp used to be), the small fridge that was there made a lot of noise, and the shower head was leaking.
