Beautiful bungalow, basic equipment but cleaned every day and in a gorgeous setting. Very comfy bed and nice, hot shower. Lovely pool and bar area with nice loungers (€5 per bed per day).
Really friendly staff, especially Antonietta and her husband. Very welcoming family run property.
Great position, within walking distance of plenty of shops and restaurants.
Would have preferred a slightly flatter walk back up from the main square 🤣

The staff were really amazingly helpful and nice, particularly Alessandro. The cabins are basic but perfectly fine for what they are meant to be. Great AC and wifi. Clean and comfy with nice place to sit outside if you like. There are a lot of mosquitos (August) but the cabins have been supplied well with anti-mosquito equipment/repellent. The water for drinking/cooking was not right. It maybe the hardness of the water but we ended up using bottled water as it felt more potable than from the taps. The pool is nice, as is the bar. However note that they charge for sunbeds! Quite extraordinary.
Charging for sunbeds when you have already paid for the facility. AND they close the pool at 6pm which is madness. I am not sure what the logic for that is but it seems very early especially at the end of a hot day.
The villagio is up a very steep hill. The taxi from the train station and city centre is 25 Euros. There are restaurants and small supermarkets nearby but if you are carrying bags, shopping or tired from a day out it is a very tough, demotivating walk up the hill. If you are young, fit or not carrying bags it is doable but just be aware of the hill. This is not a complaint but just a warning to those who don't enjoy steep hills. The hotel should consider having a paid shuttle service as most people would not mind paying a small fee (5 Euros per person?) to save the hike from the train station or city centre. It is only a five minute car journey. 25 euros for the taxi is close to extortion ;-)

Quiet, the greenery, closeness to the town, pool and bar area, helpful staff.
A bit shabby and dated. Could do with some renovations. A lot of the kitchen utensils were missing, we literally just had one knife, no toaster but it was remedied. And the deck chairs were too rusty to sit in.

The staff were lovely and it was in a very good position.
The bungalow was more like a dark garden shed. It seemed pretty run down ( although the bathroom was recently refurbished). The kitchen was badly equipped with not enough space or equipment to cook anything. Only one working socket in whole place. Disappointing that there was nowhere to sit amongst the trees.
