A gem of a hotel which was lovely and quiet, lovely and warm too.

It was ideally located for our line dance event. It was a 30 min walk to boogie fest or there was a bus stop just down from the hotel which took you to the end of the drive of the social club.The price was really good which meant we could have a taxi back at night

The room even had a microwave and fridge. The breakfast was excellent value for money. Also the staff were excellent.

A comfy break in Gloucester City Centre.

The Hotel has a quirky, ageless feel about it, which adds to it's charm. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. An added bonus was a small fridge (which we needed to store meds) and a microwave, plus a kettle. Free parking in the centre of Gloucester, Would happily stay again.

Our duvet was a bit on the warm side, but this is more us being fussy than the hotel's fault, and we worked around it.

We cannot say a bad word. Lovely stay, lovely hosts, lovely hotel, especially for the cost.

From the moment we arrived we were looked after by the owner & his team. Nothing would have been too much trouble. The decor was the pride of Gloucester, we have never seen so much information. As well as all the local information the owner was able to provide us even more personal knowledge. The room was clean, light and airy with a superb bed. We had the best nights sleep. Breakfast was fresh, hot and one of the better breakfasts we have had. Gloucester was only a short walk away. We are already planning to visit in the summer.

The snow, nothing to do with the hotel, all paths were cleared and safe.

Lovely location, extremely nice room, excellent hosts who recommended an exceptionally pleasant restaurant for dinner, nothing was too much trouble - have saved to our favourites for the next time we're in the Gloucester area.

I arrived barely able to walk due to a strained muscle and the hotelkeepers went the extra mile to make me comfortable . I was given a big room on the ground floor, could sit out in the garden, and Karen even did some shopping for me so I could make use of the fridge and microwave in my room. Very clean; good breakfasts.

Liked everything. Location slightly off center but had I been able bodied the walk to station, restaurants, and sites would not have been too far.

For an overstay just off the centre of Gloucester this was good value, clean and comfortable.

Welcoming host. First rate for what was wanted for overnight stay on cycle tour. Room clean, basic shower. Choice of simple breakfast …excellent value, or cooked one. Close to a couple of good restaurants.

Good value for money

Location close 2 center. Clean. Car parking.

Possibly unique to our room but at 7.00 o clock in morning next door would start a loudish telephone conversation on phone which lasted 45 minutes. Had keep windows shut.

A peaceful, comfortable stay. Loved it 😀

The hotel was lovely and high standard of cleanliness throughout. My room was upgraded upon arrival and bed was super comfy. Entering the hotel from the back it felt almost rural with the all the flowers and even though on a main road was really quiet. Staff were really friendly and accommodating (I hadn't ordered a breakfast upon booking but changed my mind when there and nothing was too much trouble). Excellent value for money and would definitely stay again 😀
