It was our anniversary and a card was left in our room with complimentary fudge and that evening in the bar a plate with happy anniversary written in sweet sauce Ruth chocolate and strawberry was presented to us ! Nice touches
Bed a touch too small . Would try and book a room with a bigger bed next time

Beautiful old building
Would have preferred to eat in the more informal restaurant but possibly not space when we wanted to eat so ended up feeling very uncomfortable in the overly formal restaurant

The history and location.
Could have been cleaner. No attempt to combat the flies in the bar, and restaurant. Many areas visible from the corridors need cleaning up.
