Really beautiful property set amongst picturesque vines and rolling hills. Perfect for a remote and relaxing getaway. The room was compact but with a very comfortable bed and good shower. The breakfast and food in general was really excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was divine with the most spectacular views. The highlight of our stay was the premium wine tasting and set lunch. The sommelier was so knowledgeable and it was such a lovely experience to sample some of the Sobroso wines.
The food was excellent but we would have loved to have more flexibility with the menus. A la carte would have been appreciated as the quantity of food of the set menus was just too much for multiple meals. The lighting and storage in the room was terrible. Our stay was just one night and we really struggled and found the room frustrating. They are really only designed for one person. The property is really beautiful, but the rooms would make me think twice about staying longer or booking one of the standard rooms again. For a luxury hotel it would have also been appreciated to have some help with our luggage.

Rooms are very tired and need major renovations/updating, dinner had very little choices and not memorable at all
