The Hotel was a 9.9 the only thing that could have been better is the pillows on the bed. We only had one pillow and it was so flat, we needed more pillows , but the hotel was amazing would 1000% percent stay there again. The staff was great and the area is super safe.
The pillows were the only thing we needed more of. I wouldn’t have changed anything about my stay other than the pillows.

Easy check in, able to drop off bags early, staff are very accommodating. Room is as described, cute little ducky in the washroom, Lounge is a bonus with all the free drinks and hot miso. There was manga corner, although didn't get to it but it was nice to have, as well as the gaming station. The gachapon was fun too!
None really - it is on the smaller space, but that was expected and was already noted from the beginning. If you're looking for budget-friendly, excellent location - the space isn't a deal breaker at all.

The location was excellent and the staff were warm, welcoming, and spoke excellent English. They made everything easy for us so in that way was an ideal first hotel experience for our trip.
The room was incredibly small, even compared to other hotels we stayed at in Osaka and Kyoto at similar price points. This would have been OK if there was anywhere to store our luggage or put clothes away. We wound up living out of, and stepping in/over/around our suitcases for a little over a week.
