We stayed in rooms so parking was included. The location for the cost per night was unbelievable! The rooms are older style but clean and well serviced (we were only really there to sleep as there was so much to do from Airlie).
Lastly, the staff were all young, vivacious, upbeat, so helpful and friendly during our stay.
It was a refreshing change from some other places we have stayed during our travels.

Big sized room. Great location being right in the Main Street surrounded by bars and restaurants. Social place with events on. Parking free. Comfy bed

Location & price
Dripping taps (so much wasted water)
Tv extremely difficult to get channels
Was told ground level, but was on level 1 (lots of stairs to lug luggage up)
No sink or bath plugs.
Once open curtains everyone can see straight into room.
Staff didn’t give us a parking permit to put on dash of vehicle (which nearly ended up in a tow away)

The staff were great and very friendly, the location is excellent, and the complex itself has a lot of potential. The rooms are Nice.
The room was not very clean and there is surprisingly little storage. There is enough space for lockers, shelves or even drawers under the bathroom sink, but none are provided. The bathroom setup is also impractical: the sink area is completely open to the bedroom, while the shower is separate, but there is nowhere inside the shower to put your clothes or towel. Since everything gets wet when showering, you have to leave the shower area without being able to properly get dressed before entering the bedroom. The mattresses in room 57 are extremely uncomfortable. Soundproofing is also very poor : you can hear people outside as if they were inside the room. The kitchen could be much better, and there are not enough events or activities to meet other guests. Finally, we were only told on the day of arrival that there is a two-week maximum stay policy, despite this not being mentioned on Booking.com or clearly stated in the rules. If two weeks is the maximum stay, Booking.com should not allow guests to book longer stays in the first place. This should be clearly communicated before booking.
