We booked this hostel as we were doing a run at the Sukhothai national park. We wanted a pool to relax in after so we booked this hostel.
Really quiet, out of the way hostel for those looking for a more rural place to stay that isn't busy. A 10 minute walk to local shops, restaurants and laundry services
. Rooms were a good size and we had our own bathroom and patio. The swimming pool was a nice size and we could access it when we felt like it. There were loads of options for breakfast - we didn't have any, but there were loads to choose from!
This hostel also helps feed local stray cats which I personally find so amazing. We had the privilege of having a mother and her 4 kittens outside of our room. We donated some wet food as well as putting some food down ourselves.
We didn't really see the hosts much during our stay but when we did see them they were smiley and said hello ☺️
The bedding was a little slippery... Kept coming off the mattress when we moved in the bed (not still sleepers, we do fidget). Could have been more hand soap in the bathroom as well as a top up of shampoo and body wash.
Because of the locale, the natural wildlife and strays can be really loud ( this isn't something that can be helped ) so if you struggle with noise and the sound of barking dogs and meowing cats, maybe get some ear plugs...

Our kids loved the pool (even though it is small), and we had both rooms facing the pool, so it felt like it was all ours. We also liked the cats that hang around the property. The rooms were clean and had AC. The staff were helpful and responsive, and even brought us plates and silverware when we needed some for food we brought back from a shop.
The pool could have been a little cleaner. And the doors to the rooms didn’t close very well, which probably lets in mosquitoes. Still overall good for a short stay. If you are allergic to cats this may not be the place for you, since they feed strays here and many hang around.

Lovely wooden chalet next to the small but very clean pool. Warm welcome, comfortable bed and peaceful location but only a short walk to some nice bars and good restaurants.
