The facilities were excellent and the location was perfect as it’s close to restaurants and shops.

I would have scored this hotel higher if it wasn't for the noisy guests who came in from their night out at 4.00 am with no regard for other guests. I realise this is not the fault of the hotel, however it did affect our stay.
We were warmly welcomed on our arrival which was slightly early than normal check in, but our room was ready. Nice sized room and excellent bathroom, which was very clean. Excellent air con which was quiet and effective and much needed in 34 degree heat.
The location of the hotel was excellent for the historic area, marina and train station.
A couple of extra pillows would have been good, the ones on the bed were very flat.
As a suggestion, maybe some signage reminding guests to be mindful of others if coming in after 10.00pm.

Café on the ground floor where you can work during the day
Bad soundproofing: you can hear all varieties of sounds from neighbouring rooms and corridor.
Worst of all are banging doors.
