I stayed in a female dorm room. I was first concerned about the lack of privacy due to the absense of curtains but it was actually fine. It’s easy to meet people here.
The air was stuffy in the room. There was no place to put your stuff while showering.

The staff members were highly attentive and helpful.
The common area was great for socializing and meeting people.
Cleaning could have been done with more care and attention to detail.
It was disappointing that small necessities like towels required an extra fee.

Location and staff is good.
Compared to what you get at this price in Japan, it’s not good enough. Towels or basic toiletries are NOT complimentary. No curtains to cover the bed which makes it uncomfortable in a mixed dormitory. No shelf near/beside bed to put your everyday things. Bathrooms are small and a little smelly. Can’t call it squeaky clean.
