I liked the closeness to the beach, the pool, the room, and the rooftop.

The only thing I didn’t like was that there were no pots and pans to cook with and took me a while to find the plates and bowls.

This place is an absolute gem. We previously stayed in the Lux beach house with our extended family last year and it was fabulous! This time we stayed in a one bedroom apartment villa. So many things to love from the quiet less busy west end Laguna beach location, quaint uncrowded hotel and the room feels like a condo, easy access parking, renovated/updated rooms, super spacious bathroom, full size fridge, plenty of beds, pet friendly, easy beach access and beach view from the property. The peaceful atmosphere feels like home away from home- with a much better view! There was even a gift of a few bottled waters and sodas in the fridge. Little things that make the guests feel special. We visit PCB several times a year and will definitely be back. This is officially our new spot! The Carousel grocery store half a mile down the road is fantastic too, so convienent and everything is so fresh! Also a little boutique shopping area inside. There's plenty of options to cook in your room and grills onsite also but If you are new to the area, pick a night to drive over the bridge to Uncle Earnie's for dinner. Its about a 30 min drive but well worth it.

What's not to like?

Perfect location, amazing price, easy to get in and out, very quiet

The location and price were great and so was the pool. It was convenient. The kitchen was well stocked and the complimentary drinks were a nice touch. The unit was reasonably clean and didn’t have bad odors. It was pet friendly. Overall a good stay but it required some patience. I liked that there was a broom to help with the sand.

The king bed in our unit (92) was awful. The other beds were newer and nice. The staff was not responsive. They provided a number to text. You could call and leave a voicemail as well. It was hours before any response. The reservation was for 4 people but only 2 washcloths. I requested more the next day. No one responded but that evening there was a bag of washcloths on the door. I text the next day again requesting a towel exchange as we were told we could request new towels every other day. I never got a response our whole stay. We ended up washing towels at the laundromat. There was a noise incident as well and the staff did intervene but not until hours later.
