I appreciated the early check in at 12:30am after arriving all the way from Inverness . The food prices seemed very affordable. The rooms were ok . I slept well . Friendly staff .
Uber was 35 euro to Glasgow which was steep but I also took a train in so regarding exploring Glasgow , it’s a bit out but I knew this . The wi fi situation was very odd . Never experienced such a tricky log in with lots of personal information needed in order to access wi fi. Seemed very strange and didn’t experience this on my 12 day Scottish trip . Music was blaring past 1am despite the pub being extremely empty . They do supply ear buds but they never work for me so I could hear the music. Music eventually stopped at around 1:15am which was great . I slept well after that.

The breakfast was great
We knew it was above a pub and the listing mentioned live music on weekends but it was still very loud when we stayed (Sun, Mon, Tues) as the staff were closing up after the pub shut. Even with earplugs we could hear loud banging of tables being moved until very late.
The room did not appear to have been vacuumed (there was a lot of fluff on the carpet and a blueberry under the console) plus someone’s old contact lenses stuck to the bedside table.
