Charming and good location to the ferry.
Labels on breakfast items were missing.

Posada del Angel is really well situated in Colonia and, as a result, we were able to walk to it from the ferry terminal (even with four pieces of baggage!). It is in a very tranquil street, and close to everywhere in the town. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the breakfast especially the homemade cakes. The room was somewhat small but, given it's a charming old building, we were expecting that and it wasn't so important for us.
There was nothing to dislike. I hope the Posada del Angel stays as it is, and will be there when (hopefully) we return to Colonia.

The old building has a lot of character and the decoration is quite fun. The heated pool in the lush courtyard is an excellent feature
The sheets are thin, mattresses hard, pillows flat and lumpy. We could have used a nice blanket, as the night was chilly when we were there. The shower was very dark. Breakfast was not great, the coffee was quite bad and the melon had gone vinagre-y. For $180 we hoped for more comfort.
