Relaxing

Beautiful place to relax away from the tourist area. The views are spectacular and the library was a great touch.

Neighbors dogs were barking a lot but to know fault of the Inn.

I would recommend Transylvania Inn to everybody... You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Everything was really fine, and I will share my experience with my friends who want to visit Transylvania. The host was really pleasant and welcoming, leaving an impression of that you're not the tourist, but the house guest. Room was spacious, clean, warm, with the great view. Breakfast was nicely tailored (everybody could find something interesting for itself). Restaurant terrace was perfectly positioned to enable beautiful view. The library in the loft is a place where you can stay for hours enjoying the books or the 360' view. Location is quiet, about 1.5 km to Bran castle, and the castle is visible from the most of facility's premises and guest rooms.

There is 300 meters of unpaved road when approaching facility, but anyway good enough for an average car. Anyway, that is not an issue, and it does not spoil the general impression which is excellent. It even gives some more natural feeling while going to Transylvania Inn.

Exceeded my expectations by a huge margin. 9.5/10

When i was checking out the booking options in the region, and comparing the Inn with the neighboring properties, it was clear to me that it was different (superior)...but oh boy... It exceeded my expectations waaay above the norm. - staff is not just friendly, they felt wholesome and warm - food was divine - view was divine - room was very spacious with a lotta light - FINNALLY met a room service that i liked (they didn't touch my bed, just took out the trash and replaced the wet foot towel/rug)

Not many cons, really, just minor inconveniences. - no power socket @ bathroom for electric shaver - tiny shower space - no power socket bedside

Exceptional place - highly recommend!!

Amazing place, views are stunning, the place itself is stunning and great facilities. Service outstanding especially Dan who went above and beyond to help me celebrate my big birthday. Food was fabulous too. Highly recommended!!

Overall a pleasant, peaceful stay.

There are no Tea/Coffee facilities in the room. No fridge in the room.

Could have been better

Location, receptionist, cleanliness

Breakfast could have been more diversified. The wine list has not been updated, missing wines, wrong ( old) prices . The place was empty and when we announced that we can not make it in time for the reservation, due to the weather conditions, storm weather, to cancel it for one night, the upper management was rude mentioning that , to deal with 1 night cancellation, to change the dates, for refund to check woth booking.com They were not flexible at all, so we were forced to go extra miles to arrive late in the night so we don't loose that night.

Its not very suitable for babies / strollers as restaurant and hotel are in different buildings with stairs in between. In the winter if there is snow there is nowhere to take a walk with a stroller as there are country roads outside of the hotel and not much space clear straight space for a walk within the hotel. For a couple of days its great, but for longer periods, in the winter, may not be as comfortable for families with babies.

Loved this Inn! 10/10!!

The property was very beautiful with amazing views of the mountains and castle, was a nice walk to the castle as well. The gentleman who helped us the whole time was very nice. The restaurant had amazing food, we ate there for both of our nights there.

Beautiful location outside the busyness of bran. Wonderful view from restaurant terrace and balconies. Best breakfast of the trip. Dinner very nice with traditional items. Wonderful stay! Library with 360 view of mountains just gorgeous, but unfortunately no English books. Best location to stay in Bran!

My stay was relaxing,pleasant and I hope I’ll come here again.

The property is very clean.The staff is absolutely amazing,they helped us anytime we needed something with a smile on their face.The Inn has a very nice library.The rooms are spacious and beautiful and I really loved that the TV has youtube and netflix.The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of food to choose from.Overall,it was an amazing experience and I can’t wait to come back.

Thank you again for a great stay. We already ate the homemade jam it was so tasty.

what a gem this place is. Just a short drive from Bran, The hotel was WAY bigger than expected. View of castle and surrounding areas were great. Our room had a separate bedroom from living space with a comfy couch and TONS of space. We even had a balcony to relax on in the evening and morning. Staff was great. Restaurant area with outdoor seating was nice. Make sure to check out the library upstairs for the great views. Overall we would defiantly stay again.

Restaurant and bar. Although it was nice it was clear the guy running it was no bar tender and the food was lacking. We really wanted to chill in the hotel bar, but the lack of alcohol available and someone who could make drinks wasn't really available so we decided to turn in for the night. Not really the hotels fault, but something people should be aware of if traveling with friends. We were a group of 3 and the bathroom was in the bedroom area making it so whoever slept in the living area didn't have access to the bathroom while we were sleeping. Probably not an issue if traveling with kids or obviously as a couple only.

I would recommend for a great, quiet and relaxing stay.

All good, enough and tasty breakfast, very clean room, excellent view from balcony, very friendly staff. Very tasty dinner and a lot of wine choice.

Most likely they had malfunction kitchen hood. Dining room had tiny smell and smoke from kitchen.
