Great location, friendly staff, unexpected early check in, clean rooms

The location is amazing, we always seem to get a great room looking out over the resort into the ocean.

Great spot for young family.

Good location for young children, big park, close to the beach (had a beach view but the beach is a bit far away), great pool set up.

Pack your own toiletries - no courtesy bath and shower soaps.

The unit was very nice. Very close to the surf club and great restaurants. Great place to have a holiday.

Wish we had of booked for longer. The perfect family place to stay.

We used the pool area a lot. It was perfect to be able to spend time together as a family. We couldn't keep the kids out of the pool. The bbq area near the pool allowed us to relax and cook dinner while the kids swam.

I actually can not fault the place. Maybe a comfier master bed but that is picking at straws.

Great place to stay, spacious rooms with everything you need.

Location was great - close to the beach, hotel facilities were excellent and common areas were clean and well maintained.

Great place and position

The parking arrangements under the building were too narrow & as I have a disability I could not get in or out of my vehicle. I had to get a pass to put inside my vehicle for the duration of my stay and park outside.

An oasis in the middle of Alex Heads!

The Mirage was (again) awesome. I have stayed twice. The location is marvelous; the room sizes are generous; the facilities terrific. I doubt you'll find larger more comfortable rooms for the price nor so close to the beach at Alex Heads. I don't want to say too much as the hidden gem will become too popular!

Noise carriage. Unfortunately, teenagers can be a bit noisy so mine did upset neighbours a little.

Average as was very dirty.

Location and pool is nice.

The accomodation was dirty. Was told they no longer do a proper clean. Was told they used to do a proper clean every 3 months and no longer do. Every 3 months to me was a surprise as I thought for what I pay it would be done after each stay. There was dirt and food from months/years under couches, hair and dust everywhere in bathrooms. Was told it would be done the next morning. Waited 3 days for a clean. Management not just the cleaners need to take responsibility. Wi fi is terrible and most of the time you need to use your phone to hotspot. Definitely gone down since I was last here.

Not happy!!!

Air conditioning in main room didn't worked called management to fix it and they didn't so we had to sleep on spare room then get charged an extra $70 because we slept in spare room and the cleaner had to make the extra bed because air-conditioning didn't work in main room..this doesn't seem like mu fault.nof sure why I get charged when facilities I paid for didn't work so I had to sleep in another room

Our stay was excellent, the room was lovely, pity one person could be so rude and inhospitable.

The room and facilities were excellent.

There was one particular young blonde member of staff on at reception staff who seemed to make a point of being unhelpful. She could have been just the slightest bit more accommodating. She was inconsiderate of the needs of families with very young children on more than 2 occasions. She was more interested in being on her phone.

Great location and staff, unfortunately cleanliness and repair issues.

The Kitchen was full size and was completely decked out with everything you could want!

The lack of exhaust fans in the bathrooms means there is considerable amounts of mould. Fans were missing switches and the second bedroom air conditioning unit stank so could not be used.

Beautiful apartments in a great location

the units were beautiful and the facilities were great.

Everything was really lovely. The only shortfall was: 1 - There were only 2 keys per unit, and we really needed 3. It meant we had to wait a lot for the other people we were sharing with. 2 - one of the three rooms we booked was in a completely seperate tower. This again meant we had to coordinate keys more than we really should have.

Great apartments with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday

Fantastic 3 bedroom apartment with everything you could need and very spacious. The pool was heated and a great size, tennis court and basketball court all great fun for the kids. Close to the beach, bars and restaurants. Overall an amazing resort, clean and well maintained and we would highly recommend.
