Art decor hotel in the old city with great atmosphere. Near to restaurants cafes & beach. Very comfortable & clean with both AC & ceiling fan. Reception staff v helpful with travel advice. Kindly prepared an early breakfast for me before leaving for Tayrona National Park.
Streets near hotel are empty around 9pm & advised by a guide is not safe to walk at night & to take a taxi.

It was my long term base in Santa Marta, what a perfect hotel for that, so relaxed, quiet, the patio was amazing, breakfast so tasty. I was working during my stay and the internet was spotless. Javier, the owner, is such a great person, as well as Jorge and the cleaning ladies, everyone very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay away from massive party hostels! Muchas gracias equipo!

I liked the outdoor common area. Breakfast was good and fresh. The bed was comfortable, and AC worked well. Wifi was stable to get work done. A man who works there spoke English and was very kind and helpful.
A few days in, I found 3 cockroaches in my room. Stuff helped me with it, but I decided to check out early. The room was noisy because you could hear everyone coming in and going out, and there was a bell that rang each time someone passed the door. Also on the weekend, there is a lot of noise from the street. The hotel is located in very dodgy street, but there was police there every night, so it was ok.
