Staff were all friendly and helpful. Parking for our van and bikes was excellent. Loved being able to use the wellness centre after a long day's cycling (would have been nicer to have more than 30 mins in there). Food was great - as cyclists we needed a lot of food and there was plenty. The cycling maps at reception were a great touch and helped our planning, and to visualise all the roads. rags for bikes also a great touch

It’s a beautiful area with amazing scenery.
The breakfast and evening buffet starter was good.
The location of the hotel was good for walking.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The pool is tiny and is limited to half hour slots which are still shared so you can barely move. Children under 16 aren’t allowed in after 5. This was very misleading on our booking because it said children were not allowed in the spa after 5pm. We didn’t realise the pool was the spa. We also thought they could spend a long time there. The dinner that was ordered off the menu wasn’t very nice in our opinion.
Not much to do apart from walk or cycle and go up lifts in the immediate area during the summer which is only a negative for us.
The beds weren’t very comfortable but were bearable.
