Lovely big room and clean. Good location and mostly well organised. Great pool, food was good.
We all had a bit of upset stomachs and had only eaten in the hotel restaurants. Not sure what water is used for washing salads etc…

Staff are mostly nice and kind. Servers at the restaurants are the best, efficient, super kind and always ready to help.
Main pool at the central zone is great for kids!
Food (bar restaurant “Los cocos”)was in general great. I recommend the buffet for breakfast and for other meals: good value for Money (I took a family deal with better prizes) . I’m not fan of buffets because they tend to be of lower quality, but the quality was high for a buffet!
Lastly, the room was great: all facilities, big enough for a short stay for four, and a big balcony
In summary: the room + food (buffet) + pool for kids are the reasons I would recommend Irotama XXI. Good value for money for sure.
The cleaning of the rooms was far from ideal. The did not sweep or vacuum during our stay (5days)
Also, the semi-private beach is not in front of the property, but more or less 7mins walking. The beach exactly in front of the property(1min walking )is public and for accessing a tent you need to pay for renting them.
Additionally, the propriety does not have pools, or buffet you need to go to the other Irotama (more or less 8-10mins walking) which is more or less inconvenient if you are staying with young kids. Moreover? They offer a small car transportation to the other Irotama, and promised 5-10mins wait after ordering it, but it took as 15 mins waiting once and didn’t come.
Lastly, the check in was annoyingly long, I travel a lot, I check in hotels in Colombia and internationally, approx 15-20 times per year. I have never waited (with only one person in line before me) ~30mins since I got into the hotel u til we focused the check in

The customer service, kindness and attentiveness of the staff. The room was big, clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The resort is fantastic and the beach is an added bonus.
