Well labeled interior with helpful recommendations for services in Hofn. We had a private bathroom, easy parking. Also, very quiet and clear check-in instructions.
Thin walls made it easy to hear early risers in the common area.

The guesthouse room was very clean and comfortable. Communication was excellent and clear. There is no breakfast served but there is a kitchen available with a refrigerator.
The shower floor does not dry so it is a little slippery.

We had room 4 which was at the building at the back. The room itself was nice, comfy beds, nice sized bathroom and shower. Wifi was good. Nice large windows facing the garden. Good blackout blinds.
The noise and the kitchen - I have mixed feelings about the shared kitchen which is literally outside your bedroom door. On the first night, another couple staying in the room next door came in at 10.30pm at night and started making a really strong smelly curry and blasted the extractor fan on loud, talking loudly and walking around with boots on the squeaky floor. When I opened my bedroom door, my bedroom was filled with strong curry smells for the rest of the night. I feel the kitchen space would be better repurposed as a lounge area, or simple kitchen with kettle / coffee area, or moved to a different area.

Parking close to the apartment.
More hostel than guesthouse. 3 separate rooms with 1 common kitchen and dining room. We booked 2 rooms and the 3-td one occupied by totally strangers. Make the rest uncomfortable
