The hotel is in Borgo Maggiore, a quiet community but close by the cable car which leads up to the citadel of San Marino atop Monte Titano. So during the day we visited all the spectacular sights up on high and in the evening we enjoyed a fabulous meal and a peaceful night at the hotel in the community below.

The hotel is outside the ZTL (Zona a Traffico Limitato, restricted traffic zone). It is next to the funivia (cable car) which conveniently takes you up to San Marino.
It is next to the center of Borgo Maggiore, which is quite nice woth a market every week and a postal office next door.
The hotel has seen better days. The AC in my room did not work well. The only answer I got when I asked at the reception was to switch it of.
The parking is free on the street as marked in the informations, but legally only for an hour.

2 minutes walking distance to funicular (cable car)
Smell of the room, like smoke or even led, initially we thought it was the prior guests that smoked, opened the window and tried to let fresh air come in. Bu tbn later on when we returned the shell was back….
