The aesthetic and location were both beautiful. And the room was very peaceful and relaxing to stay in.
Mainly the food options. Don’t get me wrong, what was offered to me was good. I just wish I had more of a selection to choose from. Most of the food I couldn’t eat due to dietary restrictions and religious reasons.

We had the Japanese style room with breakfast and dinner included. Highly recommend to include the meals as they are an experience on their own and the location is a bit further off from anything else. Having that said, I liked that it was further away as it was very calm. Food was great and plentiful, room was spacious and nice, onsen were good too with mountain view. Would stay there again for a night. Just be aware that it might not be for more than one night as the onsen isn't open all day and there is not much around, other than two small but very nice temples.
I would have liked if you could make some more cozy light in the main room. There were some bright top lights and some more cozy lights from the wooden beams but the light switches didn't allow to turn them on separately when it would have been nice to divide them. Also good to know that the onsen is gender separated.

The Ryokan was in a quiet area, the reception staff was super friendly. The room was large. The Onsen was great. We had a traditional breakfast and it was amazing, great experience. We wished we would have stayed more than just 1 night.
