The food was absolutely exquisite fine dine cuisine. I was not expecting the food to be such a high standard and I’m just sorry we couldn’t stay longer and eat more of the menu. The lobster Mac n cheese was a real highlight. But I also loved the satay sticks on their own little grill and the breakfast prawn dish. There was also an amazing prawn stir fry dish that I can’t remember the name of. And don’t miss the coconut sticky rice desert. It was revelation. Next time I will definitely do the cooking class as the chef is amazing.
Next stop - the pool villa was absolutely amazing. Your own very private paradise with beautiful established gardens and comfortable shelter. Everything in the room was perfect luxury. The outdoor bath was also lovely.
Sunset happy hour on the deck is a delight and the sunset just gets better every day.
I organised multiple transfers with them as well all seamlessly. And also had a lovely mango ritual at the day spa. The post massage biscuit and tea gets a special mention. That biscuit was delicious.

I cannot recommend Sudamala resort Senggigi enough! Absolutely brilliant option. The location is perfect, directly on the crystal clear beach, the facilities were excellent, and the food was incredible. But the key highlight for us was the staff. The whole Sudamala team were incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing us with top service along with great recommendations for our daily activities. The head chef, Juandi is very friendly, constantly walking around and talking to the guests throughout mealtimes. We also did a cooking class with Juandi and it was brilliant. Along with being excellent at their jobs during the day, Emi and Indra also performed an incredible fire dance in the evening for all the guests. Everyone was great and we cannot thank them enough.
If you are considering Sudamala for your holiday, just book it, you won't regret it!

Beautiful hotel with great breakfast menu. The staff are so lovely they can’t do enough to please. The hotel keeps the beach strip in front of the hotel clean
Beach has sharp corals so it’s not the best to swim in but it has a beautiful pool that looks into the sea

The layout of the resort, it has everything you need and it’s not sprawling. More of an intimate boutique resort.
Staff are amazing, so kind, really friendly and nothing was too much effort. You felt special and service was warm and homely.
Spa was lovely - lovely pools, really relaxing and nothing far to travel!
Restaurant was fabulous- great food and we loved dining on the edge overlooking the sea.
Minor repairs needed, missing tile in the pool and doorbell not working but hardly noticeable and didn’t detract from the overall enjoyable experience
