The location was great, 15 min to Alhambra, 10 minutes into the Plaza where you feel very much like you're at the heart of Granada. If you've never been here before know there are a lot of hills and this hotel is on one of them! The room comes with a large fridge, hair dryer and aircon and plenty of towels. Tea bags but no coffee or TV. Only spoke once with the receptionist but he was very attentive and helpful. Communication for the self check in was handled well.
The terrace could have been great and a key reason we booked BUT .. they only unlock the door from 9-5pm to match reception hours so you don't really get to take advantage as most people are out and about during the day. I managed to take a coffee up there for half an hour in the morning but the end of the day would have been nicer. I get they have had issues with previous guests being noisy at night but 5pm is far too early. The room was a little cramped, for me they'd try to put too much furniture in it so getting around the bed often meant smacking your hip on the desk. That said, we paid under 60 euros a night for the room so you can get what you pay for. Not sure how it has 4 stars as it really doesn't have any facilities and def felt much more a hostel than hotel but it was pleasant enough for our stay.

Very nice location, walking distance to the Alhambra and the city centre
There were different kinds of very weird smells everywhere. The hallway and the sheets smelled strongly like a very unpleasant perfume. In the room there was another very strange smell. The room was so small it was very hard to move and no space for the suitcase. When the people in the room next door were talking a shower it was very loud in my room. Some areas in the bathroom weren’t very clean
