I think the price is too high for what they offer, which is a more on the run for surf stay.

The best place to relax!

Absolutely loved the quiet, chill vibes at this place. Comfortable beds, lovely rooms with porches from which you can sit and listen to waves at all times of the day. It's not a modern or fancy place but we've stayed here twice now and the location is amazing, the cats cuddly and the property, the best place for a relaxing day. In the weekends the beach out front is packed with tourists, but during the week you have the entire stretch all to yourself.

It's not a complaint we just really wish that a place like this had a water refill station. The amount of single use plastic in Montañita is nuts and I'd wish the great property's like this would lead the way!

It’s a marvelous place, with a nice view. And the service was really nice.

I really loved the place, the cabins were comfortable, the area around the cabins was beautiful, it has a wonderful view.

Around the building the street light fixtures need to be fixed, because it’s kinda risky to walk alone.

Pleasant

The location is good for a quiet rest in Montañita, you can easily walk to the city. The staff is kind and the place is beautiful. They have a bar at the beach and it is open until 21:00

The air conditioner did not work properly. Mattrasses and line sheets are too old to provide a good rest. The place is beautiful, but they need to make some small investments to provide a comfortable stay. It is not the most expensive place, but it is not the cheapest either. I was attracted to staying in this place to be in contact with the beach and what montañita was like 15 years ago and it surely gives you that. However, at that price (compared to what you can get around), some new sheets do not cost that much. I did not complain because I am easy to adapt. But it is what it is. There are some cats and dogs which I am not sure are officially from the hotel, but in both cases, It would be nice if they feed them properly and take better care of the skin and wellbeing of the animals.

On the beach. Away from the noise of town, but just a few minutes to the restaurants, pastry shops and ice cream. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Safe swimming. Awesome sunsets.

Errors with booking.com, original room not available, but were accommodated. Wifi tricky in the room but good at the restobar.

Charming place for nature lovers

Charming! Nice people, location and facilities for my taste. You can't live closer to the sea.

Nothing for comfort oriented visitors who can't stand some little animals in the bathroom or around the bed.

Slice of heaven

Lovely place right on the beach. Had a nice cabin with a patio. Wished I could have stayed longer! Great set-up! Enjoyed the staff and resident cats.

All the Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the place was quiet. It is a good place to be far from the party and have a good sleep.

The room and the bathroom were unclean. Overall, the bathroom was full of bugs and insects and sand from the beach.

No filtered water available, expensive beverages, no cleaning of the room or toilet bucket in all three days that we stayed there. Location and the site itself are good but I wouldn't pay more than 30 USD per night for it.

115 dollar a nite dump.

Nothing about this place was decent.

They had a hidden fee of 12.36 for credit card processing. The place is totally run down. All the faucets leaked. The bathroom was outside and down stairs. The bed hard as a rock, skimpy blanets and raggedy towels. Little hand soaps, no shampoo and scrambled egss and fruit cocktail for breakfast. There were two rooms identical with different prices and after I booked there were no more rooms. So someone will pay 30 dollars more for the same room. The gps coordinates were wrong. Had to call for directions (in spanish). We left after one night but had scheduled and paid for three nights. Mifht be worth 50 dollars for a family of 4. Definitely not woth 115 dollars a nite after taxes and hiddend charges added in. There was no tv in the room as advertised.

Rustic Beach Stay

It is a collection of cute beach shacks with a grass area in the middle. A nice rustic getaway

Some parts of the room were a little old/dirty. Also they charged my card in United Arab Emirates Dirham instead of US dollars so it had an exchange surcharge.

Ocean front, but a bit dirty!

Seeing and hearing the ocean from the front porch. The cats are very friendly.

Garbage bag ripped open by the parking area and nobody bothered to clean it while we were there a couple of days. Litter on the grass near the restaurant and same thing; too much work for the staff to clean it. Also the breakfast was half a scrambled egg and canned fruit cocktail. One of the worst I've had in Ecuador
