Family/kid friendly, great restaurant area with good breakfast buffet selection. Lovely pool. Room was clean and very comfortable. Location was amazing.

My room was superb- I had two balconies and a wonderful sea view suite. I spent time just sitting in the sun in the comfortable chair with the balcony open. The bathroom was large and well appointed, with bath and shower. Bed was large and comfortable. Plenty of sockets for charging devices with international adapters built in. Lots of hanging space and large closet. Air conditioning was good in room, wifi worked well. Good quality breakfast in nice dining room. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I was travelling alone, but if I were with family, more furniture in room would be welcome- there was only 1 lounge chair, 1 desk chair. I was surprised there was no 'washlet' style toilet- this has been typical in other hotels in the region. Outdoor swimming pool was great in terms of depth and size- but was way too hot for exercise swimming. Typical exercise pools are 25ºC-27ºC- this one was 34ºC. The gym and leisure facilities were excellent, but would be good to see access to a sauna- the steam room was nice. These are very minor issues and I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Beautiful views; delicious food at Sui Xuan; great breakfast buffet; friendly and helpful staff who proactively arranged a hotel shuttle pick up from the ferry terminal and upgraded my rooms; nice outdoor and indoor pools (at the Wanghai wing at least) with cool amenities such as a “Seabob” pool equivalent and powered floats / rings; modern, spacious and clean rooms with large bathrooms
Check in service was rather slow, and given the hot weather, a complimentary shuttle bus to the nearby attractions would be very helpful for larger groups such as mine; it would also be great if guests could use the water sports facilities at the nearby Shekou marina; the bar on the top floor could be more nicely decorated (currently looks like a 90s karaoke bar); extortionate prices for the pool floats (RMB 50 or 100 an hour)

Most of the staff were really helpful. The location or area is superb. The rooms are nice and the room facilities really easy to use: TV, nice shower, great bathroom, plenty of space. Extremely comfortable bed and in general the room and hotel was very clean.
I thought the food was passable but the evening buffet was very limited. Overcooked beef, limited wine selection (a bit embarrassed by being told if I wanted sauvignon blanc I would have to order it. I'm not a cheapskate and would have been happy to pay for it - had I been able to order) The buffet lacked quality in many areas and seemed to cater for the crowd. The breakfast was okay.
My biggest issue was the inconvenience of the building where we were housed.
The building site on arrival wasn't pleasant but unavoidable. The pool area was untidy, fenced off and lacked anywhere to sit.
Far too busy for me.
We felt, yet again, dissapointed by Hilton in these key areas.
Perhaps I just complain too much but as a paying customer there are far better choices in my opinion where you will feel that you are valued more.
