Good location to beach, room was on ground floor with easy access, spacious, fully equipped kitchen, ease of access to public laundry and parking provided by property.
Despite a clean room, our stay was significantly impacted by two separate cockroach sightings. It's concerning that the property doesn't seem to have adequate preventative measures in place, especially given that this is a known issue in hot weather (e.g., sealing gaps around pipes in kitchen cabinets). We felt compelled to keep the A/C on low constantly, even though we didn't cook or leave food out, just to deter more insects. While the owners acknowledged the issue and provided a spray, the mere presence of cockroaches was very unpleasant. Coming from 5 other locations on the same trip and no roach sightings, it was evident that it wasn’t “the heat”, but rather preemptive measures that could have been focused on.
While the location is prime, it's overshadowed by the constant noise from the nearby main strip, which was frequently overrun with visibly intoxicated young people. We found it disappointing to see such a beautiful area dominated by a wild and sloppy party scene. Although we anticipated some party activity based on reviews, the extent of the raucous and uncontrolled environment was unpleasant.
