The hotel/room was beautiful, clean, and in a great location. The view from the balcony was amazing. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful with what ever we needed. They also provided breakfast on the roof top with a beautiful view. The downtown area was also a short walk from the hotel. Just be ready to walk up/down hill.

Our shuttle was not able to drop us off right at the hotel. We did not realize that it was up several hills and flights of stairs. It was difficult with all of our luggage, however, I would stay here again and recommend it to others. I would just want to bring less bags.

The location is amazing. Definitely get a room with a sea view! It's truly magical. Breakfast served on the rooftop terrace was wonderful. Staff super helpful. Thank you, Roberta!

Only small complaint is that the walls are a little thin, so you do hear some noise.

We loved everything about our stay at Casa a Mare. This is a piece of paradise nestled by the Marina Grande of Sorrento. Owned and operated by the loveliest family. What made the difference for us was the care and attention given by Roberta. We appreciated all of the tips and local knowledge and history she and her mother shared with us. If you are looking for an authentic Sorrentine stay away from the bustling center, don’t hesitate to choose this little gem.

Could not have chosen a better place to stay in sorrento. Sergio and Roberta were fantastic, welcoming hosts; the rooms were beautiful and the view was unbelievable. Breakfast was lovely every morning, Roberta even prepared us some breakfast to go when we went out early one morning! The location was absolutely perfect: Marina grande, just below, is beautiful and has some lovely restaurants and bars; the centre of sorrento is only a few minutes walk. We would come back in a heartbeat. So homely and Authentic.

Room was very spacious bathroom small particularly the shower needs updating. Breakfast was excellent great choice. The view was amazing.

The only issue was the shower very small hard to manoeuvre.

- The older model air conditioner wasn’t working properly in our room (or the room next door) and required a full-house power reset to temporarily fix it. Each time, it would stop working after about 20-30 minutes. While we understand that things break, we were repeatedly blamed and accused of “pushing buttons” on the AC, which we did not do, causing it to stop working. The attitude of the hosts to us and to the folks next door was disappointing. - The listing said there were toiletries, but there was only hand soap - We enjoyed the lively and loud vibe coming front marina restaurants each night, but for those looking to for a quiet location, this might not be it

This is our 5th stay at Casa a Mare and it never disappoints. Casa a Mare is a beautiful home and the hosts Roberta, Sergio & Silvana are very kind but also give you privacy to come and go during your stay. Our room was fantastic overlooking the marina and the breakfast is delicious and plentiful served on the roof terrace. The location for Marina Grande and heading into Sorrento town is perfect. We always look forward to our stay at Casa a Mare and returning to Sorrento when we can.

everything about Casa a Mare exceeds expectations, the B&B is absolutely gorgeous, with an interesting history and the best views!

I couldn’t say a thing! I’m just sorry that we didn’t get to say goodbye before we left very early.

The location was great; with sea view and next to good restaurants. Sorrento was a much nicer city than anticipated.

beautiful location. Our stay in Sorrento was our favourite on the Amalfi coast. the breakfast that Casa a Mare provided each morning was delicious and the the room had a wonderful view and was clean and comfortable.

Hard to find at first, no signage but we messaged our host and she let us in.

Breakfast was great and the location was perfect for exploring Sorrento. The owner is very responsive via WhatsApp and was more than accommodating for changes that we had to our breakfast requests. Would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Sorrento.

Absolutely beautiful property with fabulous view of the sea! Wonderful homemade breakfast was served either to your room or on the gorgeous rooftop terrace..your choice. Roberta was an excellent host and we will stay with her next time we visit Sorrento!
