Since you book you get a lot of useful information from the host about the area. The location is very good as it is a short drive from Hermanus. As soon as you arrive Vanessa welcomes you and make you feel like an old friend coming for visit to her home, she explains you everything. You can use the kitchen as long you leave it clean for others to use. It has everything you need to cook. You have a nice tall table right outsite of your room to sit and watch the mountains, lagoon and wild horses to pass by. The room and bathroom are clean and comfortable. Very nice and relax place to stay. Thanks for the recommendations and the flowers you gave us on our way out. Beautiful gesture!
In general everything was really nice. Just only the fridges were off (in the kitchen and in the room) which I imagine is to save energy, we didn't ask. Not big deal because we had a fridge in our car but if you need it, maybe text Vanessa before arriving.

All over experience in general was great the lady actually stood and spoke to us and we felt so at home it was like with known for a lifetime . They were both extremely friendly her and her husband it was a pleasure staying there and a real treat too bad it was too short
In general that was perfect only problem was I would have loved to stay longer

I was out all day and needed a place to sleep comfortably and safe for the evenings, that is cheap and near where I had to go during the day. The room was perfect for it.

Neat and clean
Good stop for travellers
Excuses upon excuses to use facilities
- “pool has a leak”
- “braai facilities open until 8pm”
The best one :
“Kitchen can’t be used because there’s poison”
Understandably it was 10:15 and 15 minutes after checkout time but my sugar was low as I am a diabetic .
