Very large, clean room with an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast choices were adequate and all cooked to perfection. A map with dog friendly eateries was provided, which was very useful.
We realised the parking might be restricted but managed to park in the road. We felt it was safe to leave our dog there whilst we had breakfast. Breakfast was excellent but lacked choices for any fruit, yoghurt or continental style alternatives to a traditional breakfast.

Breakfast was included and the food was good, although having to pre-order from the menu in advance was a little less convenient than a buffet. There was free parking, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is also very dog-friendly, with a reasonable charge of just £10 per day for dogs. It's situated in a quiet area, around a 15-minute walk from the beach.
Unfortunately, I found the facilities rather disappointing. The bath mat, towels and bath sheets were all showing clear signs of wear, and the traditional key-operated lock felt rather dated and inconvenient. In particular, opening the door from inside the room was a little awkward at times, as the traditional lock and heavy door closer made it slightly more difficult than expected to open the door. The mattress was only moderately comfortable, and overall the room felt in need of refurbishment.
