The Hostal was clean and welcoming. The staff were all very friendly. The shower was hot and there were multiple showers so you didn't have to wait. The kitchen and coffee facilities were good, we made a sandwich for our hike in Cocora Valle.
The recommendations leaflet was excellent. It has all sorts of activities for you to do during your stay and even has a route plan for the Cocora Valle. It also told you how to get to the most common next destination and what time the buses leave. Filtered water was offered for you to refill at your leisure.
The noise outside - I don't think you can escape this in any accommodation. The hotel is on a quieter street so I imagine it is better than some more central

Very friendly staff. Great room (we stayed in the private cabin outside so had an entire suite to ourselves), and 2 good kitchens.
Excellent location, just off the main square, so very convenient.
Filtered water provided and you can hire wellies for muddy hikes!
Lots of recommendations of local restaurants/bars/ other businesses as well as activities.
Very minor points - the shower didn’t really get hot and it was quite noisy just because it was so central. But fine with earplugs!
Just to note - they play Ave Maria at the church at 5-6am every morning which again we didn’t mind but it was very loud and would be tricky to sleep through!

Good location
I got the private room, which was a room off the kitchen. It was weird to have my door open into the kitchen. Not very private. Also the overnight staff person was sleeping in the kitchen when i got home to go to sleep. The door has a gap at the bottom. It didn't feel very private for a private room. Wouldn't stay again.
