Location, precise instructions for checkin checkout
Some asian guests were cooking and eating meals with terrible smell, it was impossible for us to cook (we were forced di eat sandwiches in our room and to have breakfast at a local cafè. The main building is not in good conditions on the outside - it gives a nasty impressione.

Location
Look like it is little run down , very busy
Garbage overflowing
Bathroom 2 needs remodeling, the bathroom 1 is remodeled but needs good maintenance and detailed cleaning. Guest try to keep clean but they shouldn’t be expected to clean walls or ceiling
We had great experience at other guess house for 30% less price, that is hard to forget

The beds were clean, towels were included (cannot believe they aren’t standard in Iceland) and the location and parking was good.
Nowhere else in the world would you get away with charging so much for so little. Bathrooms dire. Other than getting “free” towels, the whole experience was stingy. No toilet paper, no dishwashing liquid, no oil for cooking, no soap for washing hands. There’s budget and then there is just stingy- this was the latter.
