Beautiful resort - it is old but well maintained with new air con and hot water installed. Restaurant and cafe located on site and pool too meant we hardly need to leave the resort .. although there's endless choices close by.
It's value for money, don't expect 5* resort. But what makes you for it is the excellent service and care.

Great location, right on the beach and good eating options nearby. Good breakfast options and clean & well maintained swimming pool.
The cottages also were well maintained. Our initial room's AC was not working so the staff promptly changed our room upon request.
The Thong Nai Pan Yai area is not covered under hotel transfers for any of the ferry operators. So renting a taxi from here to the pier is a bit expensive.
The swimming pool should have clear signs indicating the depth. My mom accidentally swam to the deep end (2m depth) and started panicking. I was close by so jumped in and helped her out. It was a close call. I checked afterwards and couldn't find a sign that was visible from inside the pool.

The location is perfect! Quite part of the beach. Lovely coffee place at the beach, fantastic swimming pool, close to a food centre and enough different other places to eat. We really enjoyed this spot. Staff at the restaurant and coffee place was super friendly and helpful.
The bungalow needs maintenance..big time. The bathroom was not ok. I think I would have done a better job doing it myself. There was mould, tiling was scruffy, the water was yellow-ish. It didn’t feel clean at all. The resort needs to invest in this.

great to have pool and bar facing the beach. nice bar staff too
reception staff not so friendly and my bungalow had to be cleaned up thoroughly on request.
Far away from main activities but ok if wanting to stay put
