A pocket of luxury amidst the wilderness. The food, wine and staff were exceptional! Well appointed rooms, clean and comfortable.
There is no bushwalking hikes directly from the lodge.

Everything! The place was incredible! The staff were awesome, the food was brilliant and the facilities were great. Cannot fault anything about this place.
Would have loved to have been able to stay longer and also stay in the more expensive accommodation but this wasn't available to us at this time.

From the second we arrived, Collin and Meredith treated us like we mattered. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They checked in on us, made sure we had everything we needed, and answered every question with real patience and warmth. That level of service is rare, and it is exactly what made our stay unforgettable. We heard it was their last night before leaving, and we wanted to say they are a real asset to this place. Thank you both for everything.
The lodge itself is just as good. The views over Lake Pedder are incredible, and the south west is one of the most beautiful parts of Tasmania we have seen. The drive out to Gordon Dam is worth every minute. The restaurant was a highlight in its own right. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with real care put into the food. Our room was beautiful and full of small touches that made the stay feel complete. The heated indoor pool and the gym were a lovely bonus after a day of walking, and having parking and fuel right there makes a big difference this far out.
Nothing at all. The only thing we would change is having more time to stay longer.
