Close to Durham, friendly staff, gawgus Sunday roast, lovely room
Tv other end of room in attic room, shower poor, toilet was broken, dispute over breakfast being included. Had 2 emails saying it was included . They gave us it and said it was a mistake and wasn’t included

Great location just outside Durham, easy to find, easy to park. Comfy beds. Friendly staff. Nice cooked breakfast - albeit not quite what we ordered!
It was clean-ish. Bedding was spotless but the rooms could have done with a wipe round door edges and light switches etc. Some previous guest had left one of the drawers full of rubbish - not the pub's fault, but they didn't find it either..

We arrived at 22:30 and had some issues checking in late
