- assistance on how to get to the place
- old but not maintained furniture. Uncomfortable bed, seemed like falling apart. Strange noise in the bathroom that woke us up.

Maybe the location.
The biggest issue by far was the bathroom. Every time someone flushed a toilet anywhere nearby, there was an incredibly loud noise coming through the plumbing. It was so loud that it would wake me up during the night. Honestly, it felt like a nightmare and made it very difficult to get proper rest.
The bed was also extremely uncomfortable, and the pillows were just as bad. The bed makes a lot of noise whenever you moved, which only added to the difficulty of sleeping.
As for the breakfast, it was very disappointing. It felt like a collection of cheap, low-quality items rather than a proper breakfast. The eggs were particularly awful.
Overall, it was tolerable for one night, but I would not choose to stay here again. Considering the number of accommodation options available in Malta, I believe there are better places to stay for a similar price.
