The property was located right near the town square in Birgu with easy access to local facilities & restaurants. It was clean & modern, the air con was a godsend. Everything worked without issue & the view of the streets from the balcony was picturesque. The host was very responsive also. I’d highly recommend this property, a great base for exploring the island of Malta 🇲🇹

The apartment was easy to access, which i was initially concerned about due to arrival time being during the night. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom included shampoo, shower gel etc. Air con kept the room reasonably cool. Access to kitchen facilities was handy aswell as fridge in the bedroom.
Its in a fantastic location. A Bolt from the airport was about €13 , a 15min journey. We got ferry's easily to Valletta , a few minutes walk from the apartment, which were good value for return tickets ( ask for the lift to be included) and it was a beautiful authentic part of Malta. Lovely choice of little shops,cafes and restaurants a minutes walk from the apartment too.
A short walk to St Angelo for a dip in the sea or a visit to Malta at War museum were highlights.
The air con didnt feel particularly strong and it was 32° in day and high 20s at night. But it definately felt cooler in the room than it did outside.

Le logement est idéalement situé dans Birgu et facile de bouger dans Malte.
Les échanges avec le propriétaire étaient faciles et réactifs avec un bon accueil (pliages de serviettes sur le lit).
Le logement est propre, confortable pour 3.
Tous les équipements ont été appréciés (serviettes, changement de linge et poubelle durant le séjour, réfrigérateur, clime… ) avec une cuisine-séjour partagé très pratique.
L’utilisation d’un code et non les clés est très utile pour notre groupe de 3.
Je dirais peut être la puissance de l’eau pour les cheveux.

This is a great property. You need to be understand prior to booking that you are sharing the kitchen lounge facilities with the other room (two rooms, with i assume a third on the way). That said, we never saw another guest, though heard them enter and leave on occasions.
The other thing you need to understand is the reason you are likely staying in Birgu is because of the cute narrow streets. This means that everyone is in very close to gether. If you have your windows open (there is aircon as an alternative) you will hear the sounds of the neighbourhood. This is not necessarily a problem, but book with that understanding.
This is a great location and the room is more than adequate. The bed was VERY comfortable.
There was a lot of construction noise during the time of our stay. This was coming from further up the stairs. Impact Drill, sanding etc. With the stone construction, all these sounds travel through the building. The Host was generally responsive when we raised issue, but it was regular.
Coming off 30 hours of flights from Australia and both developing head colds it was an issue for us. This could have been improved with some advance notice, limiting the noise to set/notified times. We could have possibly worked around it.
The fine white dust in the stairs and common area could also have been managed better.
I assume this is only for the short term and without it, I'd happily book again.
