In the midst of a too-aggressive vacation itinerary, the Seafort provided peace, rest, and comfort.

Clean, attractive, and comfortable accommodations. Delicious Irish breakfast, adaptable to tastes. The beautiful and peaceful Bantry Bay lapping at the property’s edge is therapeutic. But the best feature is the proprietress. More than great company, Siobhan addressed all our crises of transportation, telecommunication, and subsequent accommodation, making calls personally. Beyond providing excellent recommendations on places to dine, shop, and visit, she even spent an entire day driving us to remote garden spots and stunning mountain vistas that we dared not attempt to reach ourselves. She became our Irish friend.

Everything, the location was beautiful lf you want a quiet stay this is for you the room was lovely, very comfortable. Siobhan was an excellent host nothing was to much trouble the breakfast was excellent and lovely local products, did not want to leave.

That the guest house is so far from where we live

Fantastic lodge, great location, and a wonderful host

I was here for a wedding, and I had brought my suit in a bag. The host Siobhan ironed the suit for me, gave me lifts down the road into town, provided a water pouch for my jog, rubber shoes for swimming outside in the bay, and even gave me a helpful breakfast after breakfast hours (ends 10am) when I had overslept due to arriving back from the wedding at 4am. It was beyond my expectation. The lodge is fantastic, the views from the balcony on Kingfisher were stunning, the sort of place to have a coffee and look out. Siobhan is the best host of any lodge/airbnb I have ever been to. It's a shame I only stayed for 2 nights because I would have loved to have spent more time in Bantry, especially swimming in that bay with clear water.

Idyllic luxury tranquil location to explore the Beara & West Cork Wild Atlantic way. Free upgrade, 5 star luxury facilities, freshly cooked breakfast, privacy & welcoming host. Comfort & cleanliness, swimming, canoeing, chilling with glass wine on patio watching swans & sunset! Magical.. wished we could have stayed longer.. will definitely come back!

Modern, beautiful, comfortable, would stay here again.

The Swain was a beautiful 2nd floor room with a great nook sitting view of the water inlet aside the property. Attractively decorated. Best breakfast we had in Ireland.

This is a wonderful place to stay.

This is a wonderful place. It is absolutely spotless and the bedrooms are beautiful. Breakfast was excellent - home made and fresh. The location could not be better. The house is right on the shore of Bantry Bay. On our last night we sat out under the pergola, a couple of steps from the bay. Siobhán, the host is fantastic, and so friendly.

We had a lovely few days iin this beautiful luxurious guesthouse. Siobhan was a lovely host welcoming, informative and cooked a fab breakfast. The house and rooms were stunning, looking out over Bantry Bay. We enjoyed kayaking which was a bonus, thanks Siobhan . We would recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful retreat.

Relaxed, peacefuland very enjoyable.

There was a warm welcome and our host was very accommodating.The room was beautiful with a lovely view. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The atmosphere was very relaxed and all in all it was a really good experience.

Awful place so disappointing

The host was so rude!When we arrived we were met with hostility about not having rang or been contactable by phone prior to our arrival and that we were lucky she was there to check us in when we got there She then proceeded to tell me that she had attempted to take full payment from my credit card prior to my arrival even though I booked to pay on arrival and there were two of us splitting the bill! She questioned as to whether either of us were wearing false tan and told us as this would be a problem with her white towels and bed linen!! We were made feel so uncomfortable !Despite paying 450euro ( an extravagant amount for what you get ) we were not made to feel comfortable staying there !every part of the suite was clinical and she kept stressing about rules and what she expected ! The place is not worth what you are charged !it’s not comfortable the bed was like a rock and your afraid to step on the carpet for fear of staining it after the gruelling you get on arrival!The breakfast was mediocre and very small for what you pay!We were hassled on one of the evenings as we had not filled out the form and put on it what we wanted the next morning- a very aggressive note was stuck to our door telling us that it needed to be filled out by 6pm that evening when we only arrived back from the beach at 7pm.I also had numerous missed calls from the host on my phone!I also asked for clean towels when we arrived back from the beach and was quizzed as to where the towels were that we had that morning - heaven forbid that they were used and that we needed another one - she had me searching all over the room for one of the towels that we couldn’t find ! I got back and received an email looking for two missing bath robes - we never had a bath robe in our room and again an another aggressive email to inform me I would be charged 60euro for these robes that I have never laid eyes on!!

Fantastic views of Bantry Bay and the surrounding wildlife. Siobhan was so helpful with suggestions on places to eat and even driving into town to collect us when we had forgotten our bank card!! Fantastic breakfast the next morning!

Gorgeous place in all meanings! You won't be disappointed!)

It was an excellent experience! If you want to have a really perfect relaxing vacation - this is the place! Amazing place, great breakfast, Siobhan(host) is a gorgeous person! This vacation was a good deep breath of the fresh air! Highly recommended!

The only small problem is the Wi-Fi and the network signal, but we came to relax, so we just had another good reason not to use phones during vacation)

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic luxurious couple of days with their partner.

First, the room was superb, with artistic thought put into every little detail to make us comfortable. We have travelled the world, but Siobhain's breakfasts easily rank in our top five experienced, not saying number one or five, but absolutely excellent. During breakfast she gave us many great tips about the local area and what to do for the day - we followed most of them and weren't disappointed. And finally we were blessed by beautiful sunsets over Bantry Bay most evenings from the lovely patio, very romantic! I don't normally go back to the same place again, but this is one that I might .... :-)

Nothing not liked. The place is heaven.....

Top Notch for a Short Stay

Absolutely wonderful experience. Property is scrupulously clean and Bord Failte COVID Charter compliant. Amazing attention to detail for comfort and luxury - from pristine bed linen, to Costa coffee capsules in bedroom beverage machine, to provision of binoculars, umbrella and complimetary face masks/hygiene wipes in the room. Breakfast was superb on both days and cooked freshly. Local tourist information and travel ideas were well communicated by host. Thank you to the property owner for a comfortable, hospitable and most relaxing stay.

Pricing is a little above the average for this category of accommodation in Ireland, but it was worth it for the experience in my opinion.
