About this house rental
Located in Crystal Lake, this charming house for $750 per night is a great option for your next break. Updated in 2012, located on 104 feet of private waterfront. Spacious living and dining areas, incorporates an attractive fully equipped and efficient gourmet kitchen. The family room, fireplace, built in bar with wine refrigerator and separate beverage refrigerator, cupboards ample for glassware and ready for entertaining just across from the kitchen. All with beautiful wood floors. An ample laundry with tile floor and half bath around the corner. The large master suite is on the first floor, master bath double sink counter top, ceramic tile floor, ample cabinet storage area, large walk in tile shower. Walk in closet with ample storage. Wonderful lake views from the first floor window walls, French doors and sliders, all access the deck. Upstairs finds two lakeside bedrooms and a beautiful ceramic tiled bathroom. with walk in shower. A wonderful screened porch is just off the family room and adjoins the deck which runs across the lakeside of the house. An outside shower and gas grill are next to the porch. The deck is just steps from the water and leads directly to the dock. The home is located on the north shore of Crystal Lake one mile east of the renowned Crystal Downs golf course and one and a half miles west of the southern end of the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore.

This is a wonderful property in a terrific location. It's clear from the well-stocked kitchen to the beautiful artwork that this is someone's beloved "home" that they are sharing with vacationers who want to experience Northern Michigan and Crystal Lake. The rooms are large, bright, and clean and there is plenty of space to make meals, eat as a family, play games, watch movies, and enjoy the water. The first floor primary bedroom is quiet and private and allows you to hear the water lapping on the shore. Our older kids had the upstairs bedrooms and bath to themselves and this separation of space was perfect. We ate most meals at home and the kitchen has everything you need, even a bundt pan! The mattresses, pillows, sheets, and towels are good quality and the art is by local artists who love this area as much as we do. The photos represent the space very well, but it's even better in person. We have already booked for next year --- this is a spectacular property.

We loved this home. It was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed to be comfortable on vacation for the week. Sincerely appreciated how clean and well maintained the home is and the nice set up with the main floor kitchen, dining and living room. We spent many evenings being together building puzzles on the large coffee tables. Cannot wait until next year!

This property was beautiful and we could not have asked for a better stay. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked for everything you’d need! The paddle board and kyaks were so fun and we cannot wait to come back.

Family Vacation
We have been coming to Crystal lake for 38 years and love the area. This year we needed space beyond our family cottage and this home was perfect! It was so clean, had everything you could need in the kitchen and fit our family perfectly! The hosts were amazing and were always very prompt on communication. I highly recommend!!

Furthermore, you’re only about 10 minutes to Frankfort and 10 minutes to Beulah. So you’re close to just about everything the area has to offer. The home itself is incredibly well-appointed and my wife found the home to be stylish and tastefully decorated. When we weren’t out enjoying the sights - we spent a lot of time on the deck and on the dock. By the way - skip the white noise generator at night - the sound of the waves from Crystal Lake lapping on the shore were enough to put us to sleep every night. Harlan and Lynette and their team did a great job making us feel comfortable and safe. We’ve stayed at a lot of VRBOs in the area - this is hands-down the best. We’re looking forward to our next visit and will be trying to book this place for sure.

Beautiful House on Beautiful Crystal Lake
We had an amazing week at this beautiful property. Elegant and comfortable, well stocked kitchen (even the knives were sharp!) - a perfect setting for a week on Crystal Lake. We love the location - close to many of our favorite hiking trails, cute Frankfort & Beulah, and within walking distance of our favorite up north restaurant, Rocks Landing. To top it off, we had a week of perfect weather so daily swims and moonlit kayaking.

Everything was above and beyond our expectations; our children loved the kayaks and being able to just jump off the dock to cool off was such a perk. The back deck was perfect for evenings visiting with family and friends while looking into Crystal Lake. The inside was a wonderful layout that allowed our family to be comfortable during our entire stay. I can’t think of a single thing missing from the home.
Again, thank you so much for sharing your house with us this summer. We have been coming to Crystal for over 30 years and this was our favorite house. Such a special place.

More than we could ask for

I've stayed at lots of properties/BnBs, and this is by far one of the best. The view and atmosphere of this house cannot be topped, and combined with the natural beauty of Michigan... makes for an unbelievably relaxing and beautiful stay. BOOK IT.

Beautiful house right on the lake completely outfitted with everything needed to enjoy your stay.
We loved the house, beautiful location, great deck, plenty of space, a great kitchen with everything needed to make your meals, fabulous master bedroom on the first floor and two very comfortable bedrooms upstairs as well as a bonus room with a single bed. Would highly recommend this place!

Beautiful home
This was our first time to visit this property and it was lovely! The views of Crystal Lake from all rooms on the first floor (and almost all of the second) were amazing. The water was crystal clear and the kids enjoyed swimming, kayaking and hanging out in the water and we felt comfortable watching them from the patio or the house. The upstairs bedrooms did get a little hot with the 90 degree weather we had, but the fans helped. Overall, the house was extremely comfortable and it was a great stay! The house is also in an ideal location to access all the activities in the area and still feels quiet. Highly recommend!

Fantastic property with beautiful Lakeview in every room! Private setting right on Crystal Lake, beautiful decor, great setup for a family vacation. Close to local restaurants, Frankfort, and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful cottage on the lake
This house has everything you would want for an up north trip: great location, comfortable, spacious, clean and modern, and its right on the beautiful crystal lake. We loved that it was walking distance from an awesome restaurant (rock’s landing) and 5 mins driving distance to downtown Frankfort. Only suggestion would be to include an outdoor chiminea so guests can hang out outside at night when it gets a little cold.

A bit of paradise
The home is simply lovely. Everything was clean and well organized. The property sits right on the most gorgeous, calm lake. It was a fabulous week.

Perfect in every way
We had such a wonderful time in the house and everything is just perfect! House is beautiful, from the blooming hydrangeas at the front to the lake view from each room, and deck extended right into Crystal Lake. Kids can swim any time during the day. Hiking trails, sailing school, the sleeping bear sand dunes, downtown Frankfort are all close by. Highly recommended!!
