About this house rental
Updated in 2012, located on 104 feet of private waterfront. Spacious living and dining areas, incorporates an attractive fully equipped and efficient gourmet kitchen. The family room, fireplace, built in bar with wine refrigerator and separate beverage refrigerator, cupboards ample for glassware and ready for entertaining just across from the kitchen. All with beautiful wood floors. An ample laundry with tile floor and half bath around the corner. The large master suite is on the first floor, master bath double sink counter top, ceramic tile floor, ample cabinet storage area, large walk in tile shower. Walk in closet with ample storage. The site is well landscaped though there is very little lawn area. It is well screened from adjacent properties and the street for privacy.
Wonderful lake views from the first floor window walls, French doors and sliders, all access the deck. Upstairs finds two lakeside bedrooms and a beautiful ceramic tiled bathroom. with walk in shower. A wonderful screened porch is just off the family room and adjoins the deck which runs across the lakeside of the house. A gas grill is on the porch. The deck is just steps from the water and leads directly to the dock.
The home is located on the north shore of Crystal Lake one mile east of the renowned Crystal Downs golf course and one and a half miles west of the southern end of the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore.

Very nice, spacious, well-furnished home all-around. There is now a newer large umbrella mounted on the deck, where we spent a lot of time. Harlan was readily available to answer questions and provide information when needed. When the time came, it was hard to leave for home!

This is a beautiful property that feels like a home. Personal touches, beautiful art, a well-stocked kitchen, and a layout that gives the whole family plenty of space. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, plenty of towels. It’s deserving of more than 5 stars and worth the price.

We loved this home on Crystal Lake. The second we walked in the door and were greeted by floor to ceiling sliding glass doors looking out onto the Lake, we knew we had found the perfect vacation home. We rented the house for almost 2 weeks and were very comfortable there. House has some atypical amenities that we loved, ie, a dedicated drinks fridge and an ice maker. Lots of room to spread out. Host was extremely responsive to messages sent through VRBO.
