Juan was brilliant would do anything to help, the dorm, beautiful. Sheets pillow and top cover, just like home. No bunks everyone on same level with bedside light and bedside cabinet. Washing machine and dryer. Peregrino menu wonderful ( cooked by his mum) and wine unbelievable you weren’t able to finish your glass before Juan refilled it, all for the usual €18 for the 3 course meal and wine🥰. Great atmosphere in the accommodation and lovely restaurant and seating area outside. Highly recommend 🥰

There was everythings exellent, especially the hospitaliero Jose, he was very helpfull and efficient.
Maybe would be nice to have two sinks in bathroom but I belive there is no chance to put it anywhere, so you waiiit a little time.

I had an OK experience at Senor Oso Hostal. The place is clean, well-maintained, OK for a comfortable stay. The quality of the accommodation is ok.
However, I do want to mention something important for fellow travelers, especially if you're a calm and relaxed person on the Camino de Santiago. The manager at the hostal is extremely intense/harsh. While he may mean well and is passionate about his work, his manner comes across as quite direct and overwhelming, especially if you're not used to that style. For some cultures, his approach might seem a bit too much or too face-forward, so please keep that in mind.
Another thing I didn't particularly like was the policy of having to be at the hostal by 10:00 pm, since the door gets locked afterward and we're not allowed to enter after 10.00 pm!!!. I found this a bit restrictive, and it would have been better if there was more flexibility. Additionally, the way he communicates with guests is harsh / rude really at times... maybe a matter of cultural differences when lost in translation but it just does not sound right...
Overall, I "recommend" Senor Oso Hostal for its cleanliness and comfort, but just be prepared for a host who is quite intense in his manner. If you're open-minded and understand the cultural context, you'll have a good stay.I WILL NOT NOT STAY HERE EVER AGAIN!
